Join our Open for business – commercialising your research bootcamp on Wednesday 30th June 2021. It’s a great opportunity for you to discover the many ways in which the University can help make your research work for business.

Who is it for

If you are undertaking or about to start:

  • PhD research project
  • Masters by Research programme of study or postgraduate programme with a significant research project.
  • Alumni of the University of Hertfordshire

We’re running a series of sessions across the day, as follows:

9:30 – 9:40                      Introduction by Steve Robinson

9:40 – 10:30                   Support from the University of Hertfordshire

Colleagues from the Enterprise and Business Development team talk through the Innovation, Incubator, UEZ and Enterprise support they offer.

10:30 – 11:00                IP clinic with Amanda Thurston                                      

11:05 – 12:00                Getting Ready for Investment with Gaurav Singh

12:35 – 1:15                   Pitching Workshop with Steve Robinson

  • Learn how to structure a Pitch Deck for research funders
  • Give yourself the best possible chance to impress
