Learning Resources Centres

Each of our campuses at College Lane and de Havilland has its own Learning Resources Centre. They provide:

  • more than 3,000 study places and over 1,200 computer workstations.
  • 24/7 access and all the software you’ll need.
  • study spaces and study rooms for individuals and groups.
  • Helpdesk, skills sessions and online help

Specialist facilities

Get valuable practical experience using our array of specialist facilities, including:

  • one of the UK’s best-equipped astronomical teaching observatories at nearby Bayfordbury
  • a flight simulator and wind tunnels
  • simulated intensive care unit, pharmacy and 'sim-family' 
  • high spec film music and media studios 
  • mock courtroom
  • environmental and anechoic chambers

Putting lots of different types of technologies together makes studying more fun and easier to understand. Having everything accessible from both work and home is brilliant, particularly the online submission and revision processes.
