The University enjoys a lively arts scene, with our very own theatre and galleries drawing in fantastic productions and creations from all over the world. Our links with the arts community, both locally and in London, mean you'll have plenty of opportunity to benefit from one of the best arts programmes in the UK.
Students get in for less (or for free) – and student exhibitions and productions take pride of place in our programme so you've got no excuse not to get involved…
The Weston Auditorium
One of the region’s most important arts venues, the £3 m state-of-the-art Weston Auditorium is right on the de Havilland Campus. It’s welcomed internationally acclaimed performers from across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Japan and Africa, as well as the best in top local talent.
University of Hertfordshire Galleries
The most dynamic programme of contemporary art, craft and design exhibitions in Hertfordshire is organised by our UH Galleries team at two great venues. On the College Lane Campus you’ll find our Art and Design Gallery – the best in the region – with its new café. Meanwhile, in St Albans, we have the intimate Margaret Harvey Gallery. Both showcase renowned artists and have a lively programme of events, activities and student exhibitions. Latest exhibitions and events >>
