How to apply
The University of Hertfordshire offers a great choice of student accommodation on campus. To make sure you get a place to live, we need to receive your application on time.
When do I apply for accommodation?
- Apply before the GCE A level results are published by UCAS.
- Provide the Admissions Office with written acceptance of a course place before 31 August.
How do I apply for accommodation?
The Admissions Service sends out accommodation application packs to all eligible applicants whose course place has been confirmed, and who have put the University of Hertfordshire down as their first choice.
Packs are sent out from June onwards for students starting in Semester A (September). They are sent out from December onwards for students starting in Semester B (January/February).
When can I apply?
Application for 2009/10 entry is now open.

- Use the application form found in the Accommodation Guide sent to you by the Admissions Service.
- Do NOT complete a second form if you have already sent us an application.

When will I get my accommodation offer?
Once you return your accommodation application form to us, you will receive your formal offer of accommodation. This will be between July and September, (once your academic course place has been confirmed).
The offer pack will include details about the accommodation and payment arrangements.
