Hula hoop world record attempt
Do you want to be a record breaker? Of course you do!
Join us on the sports pitches at de Havilland at 13.00 on Thursday 26 September, where we'll be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for passing the hula hoop.
There will be independent adjudicators on site to make sure we do it correctly and to verify and document our success as it happens. Come along and witness history in the making or - even better - join in.
There is no particular skill involved - just patience, teamwork and a sense of humour. And you'll be holding hands with the lovely people either side of you for quite a while, so you had better be feeling sociable.
