Study Facilities
As one of our students you'll have access to some of the best study facilities in the UK - helping you to achieve all you can in your studies. They include:
- studynet - your University online providing access to all your personalised course and study information and University online services anytime, anywhere.
- Learning Resources Centres (or LRCs) open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our LRCs have some 3,000 study seats with a choice of groupwork, individual and specialist study environments, as well as over 1,200 student computers all with integrated access to:
- High speed broadband internet
- studynet, the University's intranet and online learning environment
- Voyager, the University's library system
- A large range of software applications
- E-books, e-journals and online information services
- Self help guides
There is also access to our wireless network for use with personal laptops, and access to:
- self-service printing, photocopying, binding and coursework preparation facilities
- video studios, video conferencing and playback facilities
