Flags hanging in the street

There’s a great big world out there and we’ll help you explore it. Spend part of your course studying abroad and you’ll not only have an amazing time, you’ll also pick up impressive skills and experience today’s businesses really value.

With more and more companies working internationally, there’s never been a better time to be well travelled. Experience of living in another country – and even better, speaking the language – can make a great impression on future employers. And you’ll have the time of your life along the way!

All our students have the opportunity to spend time studying at one of a huge range of universities around the globe. It’s an adventure you’ll never forget, boosting your confidence, increasing your independence and giving you a fresh perspective on the world.

Where can I go?

All sorts of places! We’ve got strong links with universities across the USA, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Plus, we’re part of the EU Socrates Erasmus programme, which gives you the chance to live, work and study in over 30 European countries.

How long can I stay?

It depends on your course and where you’d like to go. You can study in Europe for three months, a semester or a full year, with the chance to go on a work placement too. If you’re an EU national, you’ll also be eligible for an Erasmus grant to help with travel and living costs. If you prefer to study in the USA, Canada, Australia or Singapore, you’ll usually go for a year.

Do I need to speak the language?

Not necessarily. You can study in English at lots of our partner universities in Europe, as well as in Singapore, learning the language as a bonus alongside your studies. Being surrounded by native speakers helps you improve quickly and get even more out of your trip.
