How does the online open day work?
Once you have registered, 24 hours before the open day you will be emailed a link to access the event.
The online open day will be held in a virtual classroom called Adobe Connect. It will have a host and members of the team who teach and run the degree. The team will then talk through the course, show some slides and invite you to type in your questions, which they will answer live during the open day.
The format will go like this:

- About the University of Hertfordshire
- How distance learning works
- What you will study
- How you are assessed
- What support is available
- Fees
- How to apply
- Ask us your questions

Both UK and International students (International students- please note the BST time zone). The online open day is course specific, we're currently running an online open day for those interested in BSc Computer Science (online).
Is it free?
We do not charge to attend the online open day.

Will I be able to ask my questions?
Yes, you can submit your questions during the open day by typing them in the free text box within the virtual classroom. There will be scheduled times when our team will answer them on air.
You can also submit your questions in advance when you register for the online open day.
Will all attendees be able to see what I type in the chat?
Adobe Connect is an open forum; so anything typed will appear in the chat window, which can be seen by all room members. Questions submitted will be read out and answered live within the open day.
