Public lecture

Attend free public law lectures and listen to a range of high-calibre speakers, including:

  • Members of the judiciary
  • Members of parliament
  • Journalists
  • Public figures with links to the profession

Refreshments are served prior to the event.

There is often an opportunity for questions and lively discussion, giving you a chance network with other delegates.  

Who should attend?

Students in a lecture

The events are open to the public, current students, alumni and University staff.

Sixth form students and those of you considering a career in law or are particularly welcome.

Tickets

Admission is free.

There is no need to reserve a place for the lectures (with the exception of the Annual Public Lecture held in November).

Dates are subject to change. It is advisable to contact the School of Law in advance to confirm that the relevant event is going ahead.
