Research Fellows: Dr Iman Mansouri
Academic supervisor: Dr Y Chen
Funding: £227,000
Funding body: EU FP7
Period: September 2011-February 2014
The aim of the SHEL project is to demonstrate the market readiness of fuel cell materials handling vehicles and associated refuelling infrastructure, demonstrate end user acceptance of the concept, and accelerate early market take-up. One of the main objectives is to evaluate the use of sustainable hydrogen in logistics starting from a pilot project using Fork Lift Trucks (FLTs). The consortium of this EU FP7 funded project consists of 13 members across EU.
