Overview
Digital media processing and biometrics have a wide range of applications in physical access, logical access, and law enforcement.
The scope of research activities undertaken by the Digital Media Processing and Biometrics Group extends from speech enhancement and voice biometrics to 3D imaging and hardware image processing systems.
The group exercises its activities in three different laboratories:
- Media Processing and Biometrics
- Reconfigurable System-on-Chip
- 3D Visualisation
