Fellowship applications

If you are interested in holding an externally-funded personal Fellowship based in CAR, we will be pleased to hear from you. Either contact a CAR member of staff working in a research field related to your own, or contact Prof J Drew, the Centre Director to discuss options.

STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship: if you wish to apply to hold one of these hosted at the University of Hertfordshire, please send draft submission materials to Prof. J Drew by Friday August 30th, 2013. The deadline for full applications to STFC is September 26th 2013. Please see the STFC Website for more information on the scheme and the application process. The draft submission materials should follow STFC's length guidelines and will form the basis for the choice of who we, in CAR, can support within the quota STFC sets us. We will aim to notify those we can support by, at the very latest, September 12th 2013.

Royal Society University Research Fellowship (URF): Full details of all Royal Society fellowship schemes can be found on their website. The URF deadline is September 17th 2013 - to meet this deadline, expressions of interest in applying for this scheme should be with us August 30th 2013. No quota is applied by the Royal Society.  The deadlines for the Dorothy Hodgkin and the Newton International Fellowship schemes are after Christmas.

FP7 is coming to an end with a last deadline for Marie Curie actions being August 14th 2013.  Horizon 2020 funding schemes are likely to be notified in late 2013.
