Development of air quality assessment models
OSCAR Air Quality Assessment System (funded by European Commission, FP5) was developed in close cooperation with city authority users from London, Oslo, Helsinki and Athens. The architecture of the system has been designed to incorporate a number of models and modules on air quality, emissions, meteorology as well as databases of traffic characteristics and emissions. A software framework for integrating these datasets, models, modules and tools in a logical and interactive fashion allows the users to easily navigate and undertake their analysis.
