Public lectures showcasing the academic excellence of our philosophy research are a regular occurrence at the University of Hertfordshire.

Sharing our expertise

Professors who are leading experts in their respected fields are invited to deliver an interesting and informative lecture on their area of research.  

This is seen as the ‘inaugural’ lecture an academic delivers to the public as a professor.  

All of these philosophy lectures are open to staff, students and the community at large.
