History research awards
Members of the History research group are celebrating a series of recent awards and appointments.
Grant success
Partners in History: collaborations in regional heritage has received an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) grant of £20,000 over 10 months.
The grant has been awarded to Dr Sarah Lloyd and Dr Christine Garwood, for a project bringing together regional heritage initiatives.
New appointment
Professor Tony Shaw will be Visiting Professor in the Centre on Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
RHS election
Dr Katrina Navickas has been elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
Grant award
Dr Christine Garwood has been awarded a Research Travel Grant from Penn State University to consult their extensive Utopian archive collection as part of a much larger comparative project on modern prophecy.
Appointment success
Dr Dave Postles has been appointed to an Honorary Senior Research Fellowship.
