  • film adaptation

Community projects

As well as writing about film staff and students in film disseminate their expertise in the county through a range of channels and projects such as:  

  • Field of Dreams with Saracens Rugby Club and 'Youth at Risk' (dir. Adam Jones-Lloyd and Michael Oriowo; 2011)
  • SportAction with Herts Sports Partnership, Welwyn Sports and Physical Activity Alliance, Welwyn Garden City Heritage Trust (2011)
  • filming with Olympic heptathlon gold medallist Denise Lewis, as part of community engagement in the Cultural Olympiad project and in the lead-up to the 2012 Olympic Games  

Additional film projects include collaborations with:

  • Luton Rugby Club (2010)
  • Stevenage Football Club (2011)
  • Michelin-starred restaurant L’Auberge du Lac in Welwyn Garden City (2011)
  • The ‘Active Together’ community project – encouraging engagement in sports and fitness for the over-50s
