Previous conference themes
The Research into Practice conference ran for nearly 10 years, during which time it was a major international platform for debate on the emerging field of artistic or practice-led research in the creative and performing arts.
Leading research
Each conference focussed on a different theme, and about 30 papers were selected for presentation from the hundreds that were submitted.
A double-blind peer-review process was used to further select about half of the presented papers for publication in the open-access online e-journal Working Papers in Art and Design.
