An outstanding outcome

The Physics research submitted by the University of Hertfordshire was judged to be:

  • 90 per cent – of international quality
  • 55 per cent – world-leading or internationally excellent quality
  • 35 per cent – internationally recognised. Researchers from the School of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics based in the Centres for Astrophysics Research (CAR) and Atmospheric and Instrumentation Research (CAIR) contributed to the submission
