Health behaviour in school-aged children

Prof Fiona Brooks from CRIPACC and Anthony Morgan from NICE, have been awarded the status of being the English team of the next Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children survey 2009/10.

Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children (HBSC) is a unique cross-national research study conducted in collaboration with the WHO Regional Office for Europe. The study aims to gain new insight into, and increase our understanding of young people's health and well-being, health behaviours and their social context.

The four year survey of 7000 young people across England will be joint funded by the Children and Young People's Public Health Programme from the Department of Health and the Department of Children Schools and Families to a total of over 400K
