The Centre for Research in Professional and Work-Related Learning provides a focus for research activities, and in relation to pedagogic research in higher education has links with the University’s Centre for Enhancement of Learning and Teaching.
Action- or practice-based research is a distinctive feature of the research culture, and is an area where staff offer consultancy in a range of educational settings.
