Finance and Accounting Research Unit (FARU)
Description
This research group was established in November 2005 and has steadily established a national and international reputation for the research it is publishing.
A central objective of the research work undertaken within the Finance Accounting Research Unit (FARU) is to provide critical insight into the functioning of financial markets and to employ research methodologies developed more broadly within the context of multi-disciplinary projects.

The unit aims to:- Produce critically informed research of international standard that informs both an academic and practitioner audience
- Inform industry and government policy it applies to the use of accounting and finance and how this impacts on our everyday lives
- Support the development and communication of our research through seminars, conferences and cross disciplinary research
