The NIHR Research Design Service for the East of England (RDS-eoe)
The East of England Research Design Service is part of a nationwide NIHR funded initiative to support researchers within the NHS, providing them with metholodical, statistical and funding advice.
The EoE RDS consists of six centres; Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridge, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The Hertfordshire unit is nested within the Centre for Lifespan and Chronic Illness Research (CLiCIR) and the University of Hertfordshire. As such the Hertfordshire unit has particularly strong experience in research involving chronic conditions, particularly utilizing longitudinal, qunatitative methods of study.
