An event to highlight various collaborative opportunities with the University of Hertfordshire in biotechnology and drug development. Offering exciting prospects and essential information for companies looking to grow their business by academic partnership and harnessing the leverage of collaborative grants.
Programme
Afternoon refreshments will be followed by:
- Keynote speaker Dr Deborah Harland S.R. One (S.R.One is GlaxoSmithKline's independent corporate healthcare venture capital fund that provides about $50M p.a. in early stage funds for European and US healthcare companies)
- presentations from University of Hertfordshire researchers:
Prof Marc Brown, Pharmaceutics and drug delivery
Dr David Naseby, Biosensing technologies
Dr Chris Benham, Systems Physiology from Cannabinoids to Chillis
Prof Anwar Baydoun, Molecular mechanisms and Stem cell biology - exhibition including information on funding sources and science training.
- There will also be a number of exhibitors, including ERBI.
The event will finish with a networking opportunity and wine reception.
