Midwifery Lecturers Receive Top Award

Sally Boyle, Denise Campbell and Francesca Entwistle, the leaders of the innovative new midwifery programme at the University of Hertfordshire, have won the prestigious 2012 RCM Award, sponsored by Johnson and Johnson, for Innovation and Excellence in Midwifery Education.

The World of Design - Lou Dalton

Lou Dalton will be in conversation with Shaun Borstrock, Head of Design in the School of Creative Arts.
Lou Dalton's career began in her home county of Shropshire when she left school at 16 to take an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring and pattern cutting. Eager to create her own menswear collection, Lou Dalton achieved her dream in 2005 and has since steadily developed a reputation for rebellious English sportswear and pieces with an authentic lived-in quality with exceptional craftsmanship. Lou studied at the Royal College of Art. She has previously worked for Hamish Morrow, Stone Island, Crucianni Knitwear and Charlie Allen.
