Healthcare Forum

Helthcare Forum

The Healthcare Forum lecture are free of charge and are targeted at a mixed audience of University staff and students, healthcare professionals and the general public.

The aim of the series is to provide an opportunity to review developments within the healthcare industry and discuss how advances in science and technology impact upon the delivery of healthcare and raise new issues.

Healthcare Forum lectures are held once a term, each covering a different area of topical interest.

A keynote speaker delivers a short lecture on their area of specialism and will then lead discussions and take questions from the audience. The audience is also given the opportunity for networking over refreshments.

The University of Hertfordshire has been running the Healthcare Forum series of lectures for a number of years. The series is an initiative led by the University’s Development Committee and funded by the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences.
