About the School of Education
- We offer highly-rated range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies, Postgraduate Certificate in Education and Masters of Arts in Early Years, CPD, and Health and Medical Education as well as a highly successful Doctorate in Education programme.
- Our initial teacher training programme has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ in its 2009 Ofsted inspection
- We have a range of national and International collaborative programmes including Malaysia, Egypt, USA and Australia as well as throughout the Hertfordshire region and UK.
- We train more than 500 teachers every year
- We have world-leading researchers in Special Education Needs teaching, Blended learning and E-learning, Future Studies in Education, and Diversity Issues in Education.
- We run short courses aimed at parents and teachers of children with special education needs.
- We have a long-established and successful link with Teachers.TV and continue to receive positive media coverage
