The University of Hertfordshire offers a welcoming community of over 3,800 international students from more than 100 countries worldwide.
The University has a number of partner institutions, under the Socrates Erasmus programme, with which it has student exchange agreements. One of these is the Cork Institute of Technology (Art and Design) and it is possible for students to take a semester or year at Hertfordshire.
We typically require the following qualifications from Irish students:

|Undergraduate (year 1)||Pass Irish Leaving Certificate with UCAS points as indicated on course web page, to include a minimum of 3 Higher Level subjects at C3 or above||C at Ordinary Level or a D at Higher Level|
|Postgraduate Taught||Bachelor's degree with 2:2 or above||C at Ordinary Level or a D at Higher Level|
