How to apply internationally
The deadline for new applications for the September 2015 intake is Friday 14 August 2015.
Undergraduate students can either apply to the University via UCAS or through an approved representative. Find out who your country representative is on our country pages.
Postgraduate students can either apply to the University directly via our application form or through an approved representative. Find out who your country representative is on our country pages.
Research students (PhD) can either apply to the University directly by using our application form or through an approved representative. Find out who your country representative is on our country pages.
Please refer to the list for required documents. Research applications should also include a research proposal, a minimum of 2 academic references and an English language qualification equivalent to IELTS 6.5 at point of application. Applications without evidence of English language will not be accepted as conditional offers cannot be made at PhD level.

Documents required to make an application
If you are applying to the University through an approved representative, or making a direct application (for postgraduate students only) please make sure that you include the following documents:
- Completed UH application form
- Academic transcripts (1 for undergraduate and 2 for postgraduate study)
- Evidence of English language qualification
- Personal statement
- Copy of passport photo page
- Proof of sponsorship, if applicable
- Immigration History Questionnaire
We cannot process your application without all the information above and so applying without all these required documents will delay your application.
