The University of Hertfordshire has a number of opportunities for you to undertake a summer school at one of our partner universities around the world.
We know that not all students wish to take an exchange for a semester or a whole year in another country, often due to personal commitments, but they may greatly benefit from an international experience.
Through our network of partners we offer summer schools in Europe and Asia, providing students with alternative possibilities.
Summer schools can be a 'taster' and you may later decide to take up a semester or year long exchange within your course.
Can I attend a summer school?
Places at summer schools are open to all students of the University, though priority will be given to students who have not taken a study exchange or summer school previously.
Most are open to all students regardless of your area of study and offer an excellent chance to enhance your degree and experience a new culture through cultural visits and events in addition to the teaching programme.
Summer schools usually last between 3-6 weeks.
In summer 2012, our students attended summer schools in China, Korea, Germany and Mexico.
