Entry Requirements

We typically require the following qualifications from Canadian students:   

Point of Entry Academic Requirements * Language Requirements * + 
Foundation Completed high school with good grades  IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band  
 Undergraduate (year 1)
  • Atlantic provinces (NB, NL, NS, PE) Grade 12: 65% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • Ontario Grade 12: 65% average on 6 grade 12 U/M courses, including grade 12 U English and mathematics
  • Quebec Diplome d’Etudes Collegiales (DEC) 60% average on academic courses
  • Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan Grade 12: 65% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • British Columbia Grade 12: 65% average on 4 provincially examinable grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics
  • Northern territories (NT, NU, YT) Grade 12: 65% average on 5 grade 12 courses, including English and mathematics  
IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band  
Pre-masters  Bachelor’s degree with less than GPA 2.7 out of 4  IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band  
 Postgraduate Taught Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA 2.7 out of 4IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depends on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band
