Student with application form

The deadline for new applications for September 2012 intake is Friday 17th August 2012.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate students can apply to the University either via UCAS or through an approved representative, details of which are below. For an undergraduate programme you cannot apply to the University directly.

Postgraduate 

Postgraduate students can either apply to the University directly by using the form available on the right hand side of this page, or through an approved representative, details of which are below. 

Research

Research students (PhD) can either apply to the University directly by using the form available on the right hand side of this page, or through an approved representative, details of which are below. 

Please refer to the list below for required documents, research applications should also include a research proposal, a minimum of 2 academic references and an English language qualification equivalent to IELTS 6.5 at point of application. Applications without evidence of English language will not be accepted as conditional offers cannot be made at PhD level.

Documents required to make an application

If you are applying to the University through an approved representative, or making a direct application (for postgraduate students only) please make sure that you include the following documents:

  • Completed UH application form
  • Academic transcripts (1 for undergraduate and 2 for postgraduate study)
  • Evidence of English language qualification 
  • Personal statement
  • References
  • Copy of passport photo page
  • Proof of sponsorship, if applicable

We cannot process your application without all the information above and so applying without all these required documents will delay your application.

Through a university representative

The University has a network of representatives throughout the world who provide advice and further information about studying at UH. Please see your country page for details.

Our representatives hold copies of the University’s application forms and can provide you with comprehensive support through the application and pre-departure process. We recommend that you apply through a representative where possible.

Entry requirements

Before you apply you should check whether you meet the entry requirements for the degree course you are interested in.
