Online support includes career planning tools, our vacancies database JobsNetPlus, and a dedicated careers section in our virtual learning system StudyNet (Jobs and Careers).
An extensive library of information on a variety of occupations and work experience opportunities.
Individual guidance from professionally-qualified careers consultants on CV preparation, career portfolios, applications and interviews.
Psychometric testing and one-to-one consultations with experienced careers advisers.

Getting ready for work
You'll improve your employment prospects even more when you add work experience to your academic achievements. Through our established partnerships with enterprise we provide you with plenty of opportunities to put your knowledge and skills into real-life practice.
Many of our undergraduate degree courses enable you to spend up to a year on work placement in the UK, another European country or North America. You get first-hand insight into the work challenges ahead, while growing in independence and confidence. Your studies will also develop many other work-related skills, such as communication, computer literacy, numeracy, organisation and teamwork, which you'll find invaluable in today's competitive job market.
Networking and alumni
When you graduate you automatically become a member of our Alumni Association. Throughout the year the university's development and alumni team organizes many events and reunions across the world. As well as being enjoyable social events, these provide ongoing professional networking opportunities.
