Lord Charles Cecil will address the background to the economic and financial crisis and what it indicates as to the flaws in structures, management and ethics. He will reflect and discuss on how the financial sector landscape might change and how it should change covering international matters, not limited to the UK. Lord Cecil will also address likely developments in the employment landscape illustrating his views with relevant examples. 

Lord Cecil was High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 2011 – 12.

He is founding shareholder and Non-Executive Director of Altius Holdings Limited and consultant to the operating company Altius Associates Limited, a leading international adviser and manager of institutional accounts and funds of funds investing in private equity funds.

Lord Cecil is a trustee/director of a number of trusts and related companies and acts as adviser for certain families in the UK with very substantial total assets held in a wide variety of asset classes and geographies.

Charles has been a frequent speaker at private equity conferences in the UK, France, Switzerland, Spain and Australia.

He is Patron or President of a number of Hertfordshire-based charities and organisations and a member of the Court of The University of Hertfordshire.
