Bayfordbury Open Evenings 2011-2012

Bayfordbury's public open evenings are an opportunity to visit a working astronomical observatory.

 

During these events, researchers and post-graduate students from the University of Hertfordshire's Science and Technology Research Institute provide expert demonstrations, tours and talks on various astronomy topics.

The Bayfordbury Observatory is situated some 15 km from the University’s main campuses in Hatfield. The observatory is situated in a relatively dark countryside location and is regarded as one of the finest teaching observatories in the country.
