Transport

UH has a long track record in transport: the University has supported the aerospace industry since 1952. We have developed an outstanding suite of courses in aerospace and automotive engineering.

For further information on the Centre for Sustainable Communities Transport:

  • employee transport plans through our consultancy and SME support programmes 
  • Buses: UH owns UNO buses, which operates 85 buses around the county 
  • Integrated transport policy: we are part of the St Albans Quality Network Partnership, which works jointly with city and county councils, and local bus and train operators. The QNP is part of a new project jointly with St Albans and Suffolk County Council called "Freshways To Work" , which will bring travel planning to local SMEs.
