Mass participation dream experiment launches

A new study that uses a specially designed iPhone app in an attempt to improve the dreams of millions of people around the world was launched on Tuesday 10 April by Professor Richard Wiseman, School of Psychology. If successful, the study will allow people to create their perfect dream and so wake up feeling especially happy and refreshed.

Psychologist Prof Richard Wiseman (University of Hertfordshire) today revealed the results of The Taste Test - a large-scale experiment to discover whether expensive wines are good value for money. The experiment was carried out as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival and involved over 400 members of the public tasting either an expensive or inexpensive wine, and then trying to tell which was which.
