  • The Higher Education Academy Psychology Network (the former LTSN Psychology) web site at York. The site includes over 2,000 resources (including software, web pages, videos and textbooks) useful for learning and teaching psychology as well as access to specialist coordinators, funded miniprojects, events, publications, projects, teaching tips, national policy and research related to the teaching of psychology.

  • The British Human-Computer Interaction Group was set up as a Specialist Group of the British Computer Society in 1984, to provide an umbrella organisation for all those working on the requirements analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of technology for human use.
  • Free MEDLINE: PubMed and Internet Grateful Med. On June 26, 1997, NLM announced that its MEDLINE database of more than 8.8 million references to articles published in 3800 biomedical journals may be accessed free of charge on the World Wide Web. Two Web-based products, Internet Grateful Med and PubMed, provide this access.
