School of Engineering and Technology
Our new Smart Systems laboratory
The Smart Systems Laboratory is one example of the School's investment in cutting-edge facilities in support of our students’ learning experience.
We offer a wide selection of courses in areas including aerospace, automotive and smart digital.
Engineering research makes a real difference in areas that affect all our lives – like the quality of the air we breathe and the state of the atmosphere.
There is a wealth of opportunity for engineers and technologists in today’s innovation-driven world.
Design, simulate, build, test and compete
Our students build sports cars, rockets and other vehicles and also have the chance to test their theories and skills in the Cruden F1 simulator.
We have a range of specialist facilities at the School including wind tunnels used by skateboarding champions and a well-equipped Smart Systems laboratory.
Explore our ground-breaking facilities first hand by attending one our School open days.
