Future careers

A graduate at the Awards Ceremony

There is a wealth of opportunity for engineers and technologists in today’s innovation-driven world. Find out what our most recent graduates have been doing since leaving university last June.

Build, test and compete

Engineering is fun, especially when it’s hands-on. Our students build sports cars, rockets and other vehicles and also have the chance to test their theories and skills in the Cruden F1 simulator.

Skateboarding in a windtunnel

We have a range of specialist facilities at the School. Our wind tunnel was recently used by the British no.1 downhill skateboarding champion to fine tune his skills.

Our research is rated world-leading

Engineering research makes a real difference in areas that affect all our lives – like the quality of the air we breathe and the state of the atmosphere.
