A New Way of Ranking Universities

An academic at the University of Hertfordshire has challenged the way university league tables are calculated and presents a radically different way of formulating university rankings in the UK, in a paper released this month.
South East Early Years Training Receives University Status

The University of Hertfordshire is set to deliver the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), graduate-level training for nursery, childcare and pre-school professionals in the South East of England, from January 2012.The EYPS is the only government-endorsed professional accreditation for the early years sector.

Her research investigates the initial experiences of secondary teachers within their workplace as they take on the role of leading subject knowledge development days for small groups of trainee teachers through a case study approach.
