Application interview

A portfolio image

For some of the Creative Arts courses, you may be called to an interview as part of the application process.

The interview allows us to make an informed judgement about your creative ability based on the evidence you present.

Some courses may request additional ‘evidence’ to be submitted alongside your application (i.e. this information is normally emailed to us and may include creative work, projects or questionnaire answers).

Taken together with the UCAS application, this additional work help staff to review your application and asses your ability for the course and make offers accordingly.

For the remaining courses, offers are made on the basis of your UCAS Application alone and as such, your Personal Statement and references are important pieces of information

Your potential

We are looking for potential and we do not expect to see the finished article.

We hope you will have selected the course that you feel is most appropriate for you. However, interviewing staff will advise you if they consider your work as more suitable for a different course.

If possible we will arrange an alternative interview while you are here.

All applicants are given equal consideration and offers are made to all applicants we consider to have the necessary and appropriate qualifications for the course.

Good luck!!
