Digital media portfolio
What to include
We do not normally view finished work on screen due to the time available and the possible incompatibility of software and hardware.
What we’re interested in is the process of development of your work and the understanding you’ve gained in its making.
This can be demonstrated through preparation work such as:
- research
- storyboards
- paper copies of images
We will be looking for evidence of
- Creativity and intellectual ability
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation and dedication
- The ability to learn independently
- An interest in the wider horizons of contemporary art and design and media
- Awareness of, and interest in your chosen pathway practices
- Verbal and written communication skills
We do not need to see
- an on screen presentation of your work
- all of your work - make a representative selection bearing in mind the limited time
- heavy or large 3D pieces of work, these are best documented through photography
- examination certificates
