Student successes
World Expo in Shanghai
Five animations made by University of Hertfordshire students were on show at the World Expo in Shanghai in 2010. With ca 70 million visitors, the World Expo is possibly one of the largest exhibition in the world.
The student animations were on show in the Madrid Pavillion as part of a programme of animation, film and multimedia artworks called Open This End being displayed in a structure called the Air Tree. Other (non University of Hertfordshire) works included films by Peter Greenaway and animations by artists working for Pixar.
The University of Hertfordshire was the only UK university represented in the programme.
