Our tutors are experts in their subjects and are usually practicing artists or designers.

Develop your creativity
Our short courses give you the space to develop your imagination and creativity within a sociable class or workshop setting.
Courses run throughout the year giving you the flexibility to start your studies in:
- September
- January
- June
All our courses take place in a higher education art school environment, offering a unique experience and allowing access to the knowledge and teaching here in a wide range of creative subjects.
You will work in the same studios and workshops that support undergraduate and graduate teaching.
Who are the courses for?
The classes are open to:
- anyone over the age of 16 interested in developing their knowledge and skills.
- young people from 8 years upwards.
The courses for 8 – 17 year olds comprise Saturday classes and weeklong courses during the Easter and summer holidays.
Additionally, courses are run for those wishing to prepare to enter higher education, perhaps supplementing other study such as portfolio preparation.
Tutors will support and challenge learners at higher levels and those completing the whole year within a class will be encouraged to progress their studies.
Have fun in a relaxed setting
All courses encourage experimentation and the development of style and personal expression.
Through these classes we aim to help you to stretch your imagination and skills, as well as having fun in a relaxed setting.
