Your programme of Research

MA Artherapy, artwork by Nicole Winburger.

Prospective students typically propose a programme of Research and are allocated supervisors who they meet on a regular basis to help shape the project. We can also help you to work on your proposal.

A programme of practical research training helps to get your research project off to a flying start and bring it to a successful conclusion.

You can study on either a full time or part time basis for research qualifications leading to:

  • MA by Research
  • MPhil
  • PhD

International students may choose to study here in the UK or at home online, attending the University for research training events for a few weeks each year.

Research students in the School benefit from first class facilities and a friendly postgraduate community that extends across the University.
