    The Big Draw spanned two days and was held at the de Havilland campus. The event encouraged everyone to draw and was linked to the National Campaign for Drawing.

    Architects in Hertfordshire will now have increased opportunities to access Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training, due to an exciting new collaboration between the University of Hertfordshire and The Royal Institute of British Architects East (RIBA East).

    ‘Charade II’ is a collection of hand-made comics, created in watercolour, India ink and acrylic. It assembles familiar scenes from news coverage, removing them from their context as the artist’s response to media overload.
  • Beyond the Plenum: Paul Teigh and Martin Russell

    Friday 19 February

    Visual Arts

    British duo Paul Teigh and Martin Russell (formally known as PaulMart) have been collaborating since 2002. The work of Teigh and Russell has consistently questioned contemporary art’s internal dynamics, modes of reception and mediation with a highly developed understanding of the history of European decorative arts.

    Kiss Kiss Kill Kill: A Symposium on the Graphic Art and Forgotten Spy Films of Cold War Europe.

    Coinciding with the Kiss Kiss Kill Kill exhibition, this 2-day, parallel strand symposium aims to bring together international scholars, critics, collectors, graphic artists and cinephiles to explore the issues surrounding the European poster art and the European spy film between 1950-1985.
