Courses for Graduates in any Subject
NEW: From September 2009, we are offering the MSc e-Learning Technology. This is studied as an online (e-Learning) course with additional support on campus at the University. For further details download the preliminary course prospectus.
Start Dates and Study Patterns
We offer two start dates per year: late September and late January, with study patterns as follows.
September (Semester A) intake
All the courses are normally offered for a late September start. This is a 12 month programme that finishes the following September
Semester A - September to January: taught modules
Semester B - January to May: taught modules
Semester C - May to September: project
January (Semester B) intake
From January 2009, all courses are normally also offered for a late January start each year. There may be some restriction on the optional modules offered. This is a 16 month programme as follows
Semester B - January to May: taught modules
Semester C - summer break
Semester A - September to January: taught modules
Semester B - January to May (following year): project
Thus, there is a four month break in the summer period that could be used for a vacation, for work experience in the UK or your home country, or for further study, e.g. industry certifications, English language or online modules. The University cannot guarantee any of the above activities but is developing a programme to assist you to make the necessary arrangements.

About Us
The University of Hertfordshire is located on two campuses in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, one of the UK centres for high-tech business. It is just 30 km from the centre of London with easy access by car, bus or rail.
The School of Computer Science is long established and highly regarded with a track record of graduate success, a large dedicated staff able to offer many different specialisms, and an RAE research rating of 4 (nationally excellent).
