Consultancy

The Statistical Services and Consultancy Unit provides consultancy and contract research in a range of areas of application.

As well as undertaking consultancy work externally and internally, we also offer a Support Desk via the Business School’s Academic Support Unit.

Some recent examples of the consultancy work we have undertaken are:

• Camelot – randomness checking for lottery machine trials.

• National Lottery Promotions Unit – National Lottery Index.

• Weight Wins – audits of data for a company that operates a innovative weight loss programme.

• UK Music – data analysis for a survey of the music downloading and listening habits of young people in collaboration.

• Local Parishes – advice and analysis for Parish Plans.
