Dietitians and other healthcare professionals who are new to working with children and their families.
Course content
This one day course will include:
- Expected weight gain and development of an infant
- Nutritional assessment tools
- Current UK breast feeding and weaning recommendations
- NICE guidelines and public health nutrition policies
- Prevention and management of faltering growth
- Diagnosis and management of common food allergies
You are expected to identify your work-related goals and to have undertaken recommended pre-reading before attending. A certificate of attendance will be provided for all participants.
