Who should attend this course?
The Mental health awareness in emergency care course is suitable for providers of care associated with emergency medicine and out-of hospital unscheduled emergency care. This will include medical physicians who have an interest in this area, front line paramedics, community nursing and other allied health professionals practicing in a range of secondary mental health and primary care settings.
Course content
The Mental health awareness in emergency care course provides an opportunity for those working in the hospital, social care or out-of-hospital environments to undertake a range of topics associated with mental health, in addition to understanding the challenges associated with each professional group.
