- life story work for what purpose?
- issues of identity and being “me”
- the boundaries of life story work
- recognising and avoiding distress
- reminiscence work with older people
- the use of the narrative within evidence-based practice
- how to conduct oral histories - interviewing skills
- use of documentation/archive material and the importance of corroborative evidence recording, transcribing and analysing material
